Plain terms for a free product. Use PetPilot to keep your pet's record — just don't mistake it for a vet, and don't use it to break the law.

1. What PetPilot is
PetPilot is a record-keeping app for pet owners: pet profiles, walks, weights, a health and medication log, documents, expenses, calendar events, and a customs declaration service for travel into Sweden. It runs as an iOS app, an Android app and a web app at app.petpilot.io.
2. What PetPilot is not
It is not veterinary advice. Medication schedules, reminders, adherence figures, weight trends and care tips are conveniences built on what you entered. They do not diagnose anything and they do not replace a vet. If your animal is unwell, call one.
It is not a tracker. Walk detection tells you where a walk went after it happened. It is not a live pet-location service and it will not find a lost animal.
It is not the customs authority. The travel feature submits a declaration to Tullverket on your behalf and returns the number Tullverket gives back. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what is filed and for meeting every other entry requirement — vaccinations, chip, passport, timing. Check the review screen against the actual passport before you submit.
3. Your account
- You need a valid email address and you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- One account is for one person. Share a pet instead of sharing a login — that is what sharing is for.
4. What you put in
Your pets, photos, documents and records stay yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, to show it back to you and to the people you have shared a pet with, and to process it for the features you switched on. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it.
Only upload things you have the right to upload, and only invite people to a pet if you are entitled to share that pet's information with them.
5. Fair use
Don't:
- break the law with it, or use it to file a false customs declaration;
- upload someone else's personal data without a reason to;
- attack, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or hammer the API;
- resell it or pass it off as your own.
6. Price
PetPilot is free to use today. We may introduce paid plans, paid features or advertising in future; if we do, you will be told in advance, and it will not retroactively lock the record you have already built. You can export your medication log at any point.
7. Availability
We aim to keep it up and we do not promise to. Features may change or be withdrawn — automatic walk detection in particular depends on your phone's operating system, its background limits, your permissions, and a Bluetooth tag that behaves. Third-party services the app depends on, including Tullverket, can be unavailable without notice.
8. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, for a missed dose or appointment, for a walk that was not recorded, or for a rejected border crossing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Ending it
Delete your account whenever you like; write to hello@petpilot.io and everything attached to it goes with it. We may suspend an account that is breaking section 5 or putting the service at risk.
10. Law
Danish law applies, and the courts of Denmark have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections of your own country's mandatory consumer law.
